Jehovah's Witnesses are organized to carry out the work that Jesus commands for the last days here on earth.

The message being spread from house to house is the Kingdom message. That God's Kingdom will come and His will be done on earth as in heaven.

We are in over 230 lands, and teach the kingdom with literature printed in over 100 languages.

Here are some expereinces:
MINE:
I suppose we can start with mine! I was about 19 oras 20 years old I think when Jehovah's Witnesses were coming to my door. I grew up in Michigan, and came to live in California with my grandmother to work and go to school, and start a life.

I worked nights at fast food, and days at a childcare center. At one time I had three jobs. My last one was working with developmentally disabled adults in group homes. I was rarely home, and when I was home, I was very tired. I kept some strange hours.

I have answered the door to the local witnesses in various stages of undress. Gladly, they were all women, they didn't seem to mind what was going on!

I took the magazines, and kept them. I thought I would read them someday, as there were several interesting subjects on the covers. I kept on working, and not reading them.

After I was married (we lived in the same house), and was pregnant, I quit my job and had more time to think seriously about things, and invite someone inside the house for a study. I finally got down to business right when I turned 23.

The woman that I studied with has since died of Lukemia. We all miss her laugh, and putting Jehovah first no matter what.

I certainly didn't think that the god of the Bible had very many pleasant things to offer! I remember the momment when Lottie told me from the other side of the dining room table before we had reached that study subject something like, "You know there's no eternal torment in a burning hellfire, right?" And I looked down at my 'Live Forever' book, and thought, 'well, now I have to see if this applies to my life.' Because originally, I just took a study to learn more about things in general, but I didn't think I would be able to apply them to myself. That was when doors started opening.
